The Project — beIN Sports Event Giveaway Socks
beIN Sports, one of the leading sports broadcasting networks in Asia, commissioned Aquaholic to produce a run of custom branded socks for their event giveaways. The socks needed to reflect beIN’s bold, sporty identity while being comfortable and durable enough for everyday wear — the kind of freebie that fans would genuinely want to keep.
We recommended jacquard knitting as the ideal technique for this project. Unlike printed socks, jacquard weaves the brand design directly into the fabric during the knitting process. This gave the beIN Sports logo and colourway a clean, textured appearance with a premium hand-feel that printed methods cannot replicate. The result was a sock that looked and felt like official sports merchandise.
The finished socks were distributed at a major sporting event, and the feedback was excellent. What Made This Project Special
The beIN Sports brand is instantly recognisable, and the jacquard technique was the perfect way to honour that identity. We replicated their signature colour palette and logo with precision using a multi-colour jacquard loom, ensuring every line and curve of the beIN wordmark was sharp and accurate across the sock surface.
The socks were produced in a crew-length style with reinforced heel and toe areas for durability and comfort. We used a combed cotton blend that provided breathability and a soft hand-feel, making the socks genuinely comfortable for all-day wear — a critical factor for event merchandise that people actually want to use.
Each pair was individually packaged with a branded belly band label, making them easy to distribute at the event while maintaining a polished, retail-ready presentation. Our jacquard looms support up to 6 colours per design. This is sufficient for most brand logos, sports team identities, and event themes. For designs requiring more colours or photographic-quality images, we recommend sublimation printing instead.
Why is the MOQ higher for jacquard socks?
Jacquard knitting requires the loom to be programmed with your specific pattern before production. This setup process makes it most cost-effective at quantities of 200 pairs or more. For smaller quantities, sublimation or embroidered socks may be a better fit.
How long does production take?
Standard production for jacquard socks takes 14–21 working days from artwork approval. This includes loom programming, knitting, quality control, and packaging. We recommend ordering at least 4 weeks before your event date.
Can I customise both sides of the sock?
